As well as capturing the attention of commercial markets, he has also captured the attention of his fellow photographers. Javon’s images have been published in 2 of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Albums, which feature the best work that year for 2004 and again in 2005. He was also featured in the professional monthly periodical for WPPI as a “Member of the Month” in September of 2006. He was interviewed by the New York Institute of Photography in 2005. In April 2006, he was interviewed by The WB television network for a special on weddings. His work has also garnered 16 international awards given by 3 of the most prestigious organizations in the industry, PPA, WPPI and WPJA.
